When I was pregnant with my first child I started off with an OBGYN at a different practice. She seemed cold and disconnected. I was excited and nervous. It was my first child. After much chat with other women and research I as recommended to Terry multiple times. After meeting her I was 100% sure I made the right decision not only to switch practices but to switch to a midwife. She was so personable and full of smiles. She was always excited with me and if I was nervous just talking to her calmed me down. She always informed me of my choices and let me decide. My first son was big and late and she knew I wanted to avoid a c section so at 40w 2 days we induced. It was a bumpy delivery but she did it! She successfully delivered my 8lb 4oz baby boy. No cutting. No stitching up. She was with me in the hospital room from start to finish. She said we made the right call to induce bc after examining the placenta she said it started to deteriorate and in a few more days the baby would have had oxygen issues. For my second baby 3 years later, he was breech my whole pregnancy. She said a fellow doctor in the practice, Dr Arcelin was excellent at external versions. By 37 weeks I made the decision to try flipping my little one. Terry met me at the hospital with the doctor and after just a few minutes my little one was flipped. I had a successful vaginal birth a week and half later. I’m so grateful for Terry’s guidance and support through everything. Thanks to her and the others at women’s health I have 2 great, successful birth stories to tell.

Terry delivered my first born. She wasn’t my midwife I was used to seeing so I was very hesitant when my water broke and my midwife was not available. Terry was soooooo amazing-she made a very scary experience for me, a positive and calm one. She was informative and patient, and in constant contact with me for the 18 hours I was in labor. I would be blessed if she was to deliver my second baby too 🙂

Terry is an absolute GEM! I have been seeing her since 2013 and would never go see anyone else for my OBGYN needs. She is kind, caring, knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients on a deeper level. She delivered my first baby in Oct 2016 and because of her it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I am currently pregnant with my second and am so excited to have Terry by my side through this experience!

I absolutely ADORE my midwife, Terry DeFilippo! I had such an amazing birthing experience with my son because I had her by my side. She was so patient, kind and very respectful of my hippy, all natural birth plan! Her extra love and care helped me push through and have a very successful, all natural, interference free birth. I will never forget the beautiful moment she shared with me and my family. I couldn’t imagine anyone else delivering my future babies!!

I recently made the decision to leave my Dr. of 20+ years and move to Women’s Health Partners and was delighted to see Terry, who was one of the Midwives in another practice when I delivered my son 18 years ago! What a small world. She is so invested in her patients — she took time to explain things and answer questions. I plan to stick with WHP and continue to see her for my annual visits. Plus the office is beautiful and very friendly!

Terry is the sweetest and most loving midwife you will find. Before I had my daughter I was hospitalized for pre-eclampsia and had to deliver my baby early. Terry not only was there throughout the entire pregnancy, she listened and hugged me through tears and encouraged me at some of my weakest moments. She is an angel on earth! Everyone in our family loves this woman! Thank you Terry!

Terry delivered my sweet baby boy. She was such an amazing guide and support system through the entire process. She never left my side and always gave through instructions on what to expect. I don’t think I could of done it without someone like her. My family and I were super impressed and thank you from the body of our hearts for giving us the best gift.

I have been seeing Terry for 15 years. She has deliveried 3 of my 4 children and my nephew. She is the most truely caring, understanding and compassionate person I know. Working in this field, my expectations are high! Without any hesitation she surpassed any expectation I may have had. I absolutely LOVE Terry! You will not be disappointed with her.

COVID-19 is causing things to change rapidly and our operations can vary because of this. We ask for your understanding and that you check our website for the latest on operational hours and services available.

We are proud of our staff who are working during this time, and pledge to you our highest service possible during this pandemic.

Patient/Visitor Guideline Update

In an effort to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission and provide a safer environment and promote social distancing which is recommended by the CDC, we are asking that patients limit the number of people accompanying them to an appointment. No visitors (including children) will be allowed to accompany each patient unless a specific patient needs extra support. We encouraged visitors to remain closely connected to their loved ones through virtual means, including Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp, and/or phone.

Additionally, we are respectfully asking that children not accompany any adult patients, unless there is a medical necessity. We know this may cause scheduling challenges, particularly for families with younger siblings, but we can all play a role in reducing the spread of this virus. Thank you for understanding our need to do so and for helping us keep you and our greater community healthy.

We are also asking any patients with a cough, shortness of breath or fever not to come to our facility and call ahead of time. You will be directed to another facility for evaluation.

All patients are to wash their hands before and after their visit. Hand washing, social distancing, and self-isolation are still the best ways to prevent this virus from spreading more widely.

We are committed to providing the best care to you and will continue to give you the best guidance we can.
